With the help of a teacher, you can learn the basic principles and tools of the Alexander Technique, learn new skills or enhance the skills you already have while receiving ongoing support and encouragement with your learning. All teachers listed below have certified with the ITM, and are members of the ITM Teachers’ Association (ITMTA). The ITMTA promotes and supports our professional standards by requiring compliance with the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) policy, mandatory full insurance cover and adherence to the ITM Codes of Conduct, Ethics and Practice.
Only members of the ITMTA may apply to teach at ITM summer workshops which are held annually in England, Ireland and Germany.
Contact your local ITM teacher to book an introductory one-to-one lesson or to attend an introductory group class. The ITM has certified over 150 teachers, all of whom have completed the four-year ITM Teacher Training Course and passed all the required written and practical exams.
